Both of her parents are blue roan and have been ridden. Her sire, here on the ranch and her dam, in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming elk hunting. Her sire, Doubleman Rowdy is intensely Joe Hancock (AQHA Hall of Fame) including: Blue Valentine (AQHA Hall of Fame), Mr Roan Hancock, and Clown Hancock (AQHA ROM Arena & sire to Tiny Bay Hancock the 1980 High Point Tie-Down Roping Mare). Cee Heart Blue Penny is the daughter of Bobs Blue Penny. Bobs Blue Penny is carrying the blood of Cody Wimp (AQHA Champion, AQHA ROM Arena), King Wimp (AQHA Champion, AQHA ROM Arena), Croton Oil (AQHA ROM Race, SI 85), Me Quick To (AQHA Superior Halter, AQHA Superior Western Pleasure, AQHA ROM Arena, AQHA ROM Race, SI 95, NCHA Money Earner), Triple Money (New Track Record), & Monita (1951 World Champion Quarter Running Horse, SI 100).
